Job Description:
This is a senior level position for an experienced senior concept artist/illustrator needed for upcoming book, graphic novel, and video game projects.
Tasks and responsibilities include:
Assist Studio Director with art direction
Assist in development of junior level artists
Help establish/maintain standards of artistic excellence
Provide high profile concept art for video game and film work with focus in:
Character/creature designs
Industrial/mechanical designs
Environment concepts
Weapons, Props, and world object designs
Illustrations
Modelsheets and turnarounds
Card Game illustrations
Book/magazine illustrations
Graphic Novel art work
Package design
Toy and product design
Qualifications:
Must demonstrate exceptional conceptual art/design skills
Must excel at traditional drawing and painting skills
Must be an expert with painter and/or Photopshop programs
Must have strong concept art portfolio demonstrating strong line and color work.
Excellent communication skills and ability to give and take instructions well.
Prior industry experience of at least 3 years is required
Graphic Design and 3D software skills are a plus.
English Speaking is recommended.
